We process personal data that you voluntarily provide to us via our forms (car buying enquiry, vehicle enquiry, contact form) solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry and preparing an offer to buy your vehicle.
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and on the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
As part of the car buying form, you may voluntarily upload photos of your vehicle. These are used solely to assess your vehicle and are not published.
When you submit a form, we additionally store your IP address and your browser's identifier. This information is used solely to prevent abuse and spam (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after six months at the latest.
This website only uses a technically necessary session cookie that ensures the security of the forms (protection against cross-site request forgery). It is deleted when you close your browser. We do not use cookies for analytics or marketing.
No third-party content is loaded when you visit our pages. We serve fonts and all other design elements from our own server. Consent is therefore not required for simply visiting the website.
On our contact page we offer a map from Google Maps. This map is not loaded automatically. Only when you click the “Load map” button is a connection established to Google's servers and your IP address transmitted to them. This may involve a transfer of data to the USA. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you give by clicking and can withdraw at any time by reloading the page. If you do not wish to load the map, you can view our location directly on Google Maps via the link provided – in that case, Google's privacy policy applies. Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes of processing, at the latest once the statutory retention periods have expired.
Your data is processed on servers of our hosting provider within the European Union. It is not passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please contact info@ks-autoankaufstation.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
